James Hildreth is a producer, composer, arranger, and orchestrator for motion media and projection art presentations.

"Hildreth's passion for delivering the emotions of visual art through audio enlivens the soul and harmonies of the music. And his quality is as good as it gets."
- Luke S., DG24 Artist

Hildreth’s career spans engineering, teaching, artistic painting, and choral directing. He founded Sound Space Media with a mission to provide a unique and original audio experience for the projection artists at Digital Graffiti who see the value in melding the emotional messaging of audio with the visual elements in their art.

He started his first a cappella group in high school, doing all the directing and arranging. He has an accurate “ear,” a wide vocal range, and is an excellent sight-singer. He has performed in master chorales in Boston, NYC, and Philadelphia, and was in the close-harmony group Boston Jazz Voices.

Hildreth has performed at the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Jordan Hall, Sanders Theater, the Academy of Music, Fisher Center, and Tanglewood.
